I agree with Georg here.
Imho we might want to make the "quality-levels" for extensions a bit
more prominent. Then core-extensions could have a high "quality" by
default but that level could also (in theory) be reached by other very
commonly and heavily maintained extensions that just are not part of
core. Having an "official repository" (since extmgr supports multiple
now) and having "good extensions" with another level of "even better
extensions" (since they are in core) sounds a bit overly complex and
maybe "not fair".
