of course this is an interesting question which needs to be answered first!

EM doesn'T work out of context as the whole JS is loaded in the top bar
of the Backend.

IMO: If the whole backend is needed, a perfect redirect function is
needed which redirects the alt_doc.php with all arguments (or whatever
file) to a full backend and the same view.
