I was not much around, but I read part of the early morning IRC conversation 
and I did some testing later in the evening.
I was a little disappointed, that not so many people were around but I think 
it was still a productive day.

Also I liked it that many git experts were around. I did not need them, but 
it was good to know that someone is available to help you if you get stuck.
