Yes, and this is why I really would like to see Dmitry and Ingo stand 
side by side (on Skype I mean :D) to discuss the API (others are welcome 
too of course). Ingo has big knowledge of Solr whereas Dmitry has 
knowledge of Mnogosearch and Sphinx.

Both of them as part of the Core team since a long time have at least 
sufficient knowledge of indexed_search to be able, together, to 
brainstorm a solid API base.
