I think it's about time for TYPO4 4.6 to
refactor the whole page id determination,
"page not found" mechanism because it's
a pain in the a* to create a way (extension,
hook, etc.) which would handle all possible
situations a page can be accessed. (May it
be per ?id or realurl or static documents, etc.)

Are there any plans for this as there are also
some reported bugs etc?!
