I would say it should be "improved" first. If something comes out, it 
should come ready, not half-ready.

May be we should have two separate extensions: old EM and new EM. That 
would serve anybody.

I am usually not interested in technical details, all I need is a fast way 
to search and install extensions. That is much easier with the old EM 
without all these shiny panels and multiple scrolls: less clicks, more 
straight workflow. I afraid devs got carried away a bit by the 
possibilities opened by ExtJS ;) Everybody does that when starts working 
with ExtJS. But EM should have been simpler, not technologically cooler.

The simpler, the better.
