Thanks for your help Christian! As 4.5 RC1 is "approaching fast"
(Wednesday), it would be cool to have that refactoring (maybe also
considering some stuff from the list of issues Steffen Gebert presented
in his review in the core list?) in time for that. Would that be possible?
