[TYPO3-v4] Basic Frontend User Registration for the core?

Unsure.. as member of the Core Team, I'm against putting too much things
into our own responsibility. There's already enough to do..

From a user point-of-view: Probably yes.

I found datamints_feuser some time ago. It's IMHO really worth
considering. From its functionality, it would fit perfect into what I
expect from a basic core FE user registration.
Single and Double Opt-In or manual activation. Configurable using TS and
FlexForms. Every field of the fe_users table can be selected. Frontend
form will be automatically generated based on TCA values. Support for
saltedpasswords. Damn.. seems I really like this extension :)
Nevertheless, I think the part of deleting a user is still missing.
