[TYPO3-v4] custom extension: XLIFF only?

Of course. You may choose not to deliver XLIFF at all of course but we
may have additional requirements in the future if someone start doing
the last bits of integration we planned for XLIFF, namely support for
plurals.

Because once we program it I can ensure you that we will have to be
clever in our mind if we want to somehow be "backward compatible" (with
lots of limitations of course, if it works at all).
