Hi Steffen,

As was said by Georg, this may not be significant as early adopters may
well be working straight from Git.

Definitely for me. Up to now we have a single project planned with 4.6,
most are targeted at 4.5, because clients appreciate LTS. So - from a
business point of view - 4.7 seems far too "distant".

Absolutely the case here!

Not for me, this doesn't matter. But I would support having a
commit-freeze until all the BLE stuff is merged. This might be seen as
quite "aggressive", but - as far as I understand this project - all
Core-related stuff from the BLE *has* to go into 4.7, as we're not going
to maintain a separate version of TYPO3 for this government agency, are
we? So I would just freeze everything until all the stuff is in and then
resume normal development. I would say this should be done until alpha2,
so that we're done with that and can see what else can go into this release.

No strong influence for me, except the time spent helping with this
discussion, which led me to postpone submission of a couple of patches.

Cheers
