[TYPO3-v4] Umlaut problem in extension manager

Hi,

I have found a problem if you put umlauts like "äüö" into the input 
field when searching for an extension.
After the search the umlauts change into the char "�".

I use:
TYPO3 4.4.4
PHP 5.2

Someone confirming this issue?
