[TYPO3-v4] "Select navigation mode" can be removed?

In my 4.4-dev (rev 7644 iirc) this option isn't visible !?

Anyway, I haven't seen an installation where anything but the default 
navigation was used so I wouldn't mind if it were removed (easier to 
maintain)
