[TYPO3-mvc] Cannot add objects from Controller, but from Backend

That works perfectly.

However I was under the impression, that the repositories should only be called from their respective controllers, because it seemed to me that only parents should know their children and not the other way around? 

What would be an appropriate style if the report were to have more child objects? Is it okay to call map repositories form them or should I only call parent/child methods?

I am pretty new to Domain Driven Design and it seems I have misunderstood how it works.
