[TYPO3-mvc] Extbase in eID scripts

Hi all,

I'm sure this question must have been asked a thousand times, but I 
can't seem to find a definitive answer: how do you use Extbase in the 
context of an eID call?

I have found the following which probably works:

but I'm surprised at the amount of manual initializations that need to 
be done. Isn't there some (c)leaner bootstrapping process for Extbase in 
an eID context?
