[TYPO3-mvc] extbase query select only specific table columns

Hello,

is it possible with the query language from the repositories to select 
only specific table columns?

SELECT uid, title
FROM table

I couldn't find it...I do an ajax call but there are too many unneeded 
columns in my result.
