[TYPO3-mvc] updateRefIndex() fails

Hello,

I have a TYPO3 4.6.6 installtion with Templavoila 1.6.1.

Since yesterday I get this fatal error when I save and exit the mappings 
of a TV template:

Fatal error: Call to a member function updateRefIndexTable() on a 
non-object in 
/home/knuspdbs/typo3_src_466/typo3/sysext/extbase/Classes/Persistence/Backend.php 
on line 589

I also get this error when I create a new Direct Mail mailing from an 
internal page.

When this error appeard first, I ran TYPO3 4.6.0 with TV 1.6.1. That's 
why i Updated to 4.6.6, but that did not help. I also downgraded TV to 
1.6.0, but that did not help either.

The server runs PHP 5.3.6, extbase is current (1.4.3).

A different installtion on the same server (running typo3 4.6.3 with TV 
1.6.0) works fine.

Any help greatly appreciated.
