[TYPO3-mvc] MM Relation with foreign tables (old exec_SELECT_mm_query())

This was my first idea, but the category column of the DAM table 
contains only a boolean value (Belong to a category or not).
Therefore I am not able to bind this on the category table.
Only the MM table hold the relation.
Or do I have missed something ?
