[TYPO3-mvc] TS - FLUIDTEMPLATE and sitemap / subpages

Hello,

i have to generate a sitemap (with pictures ecc.). Now i thought it
would be great to generate the sitemap via FLUIDTEMPLATE (just
typoscript and fluid, no extbase!) instead of going the common way using
e.g HMENU.
But how can i pass {pages} to the template ... Is it possible to pass
array like variables via TypoScript to fluid so i can iterate through it?
