doh - then I need to have a look again. And I totally missed that the 
child table field also has to be updated. It's getting a bit more 
complicated by that now, so that I might have to change the whole 
concept for the group field support :(
But as it's not even in the core, I think we could also postpone this 
behavior to 1.3.1 or alike, just for the fact to get the basic support 
in for 1.3.0, but I'll have a look.

sure I remember - but I totally forgot about that.

Thanks for your offer - it's much appreciated. Do you have some 
extension I could use for testing so that I don't have to write a dummy 
extension for this (I'm a bit busy atm)?
