Hello Thomas,
we also had the requirement to pass the chosen filters to the show action for a backlink. We got this to work using an array, BUT: IE had problems with the long URL. So we ended up saving the object/array to the session and just put an identifier (md5) into the URL to fetch the correct settings from the session.
