[TYPO3-mvc] Access settings of another extension

Hello

I have two Extbase extensions (let say A and B). In extension B I have
controller which extends some controller form A.
In this controller (from ext B) I can access to the typoscript
settings of extension B, simply by typing $this->settings.
But I wondering, is it is possible to access settings of extension A
from extension B somehow ?
