[TYPO3-mvc] Feature #6165 - The repository's findAll() shall honour "default_sortby" defined in TCA

I understood about sorting findAll: I created one base repository and 
overrided findAll method with sorting there.
Now I retrieve a lot of content like this: $client->getContacts(); Now 
obviously I need that sorted too.
*Do I have to start using repositories whenever I need sorting?* Or is 
there a way around this?
