Did you use the blog_example from TER or did you try the trunk version as well?

At first glance i would guess you're using TER blog_example and 
something is wrong with either typoscript persistence config (mapping) 
or a typehint for an objectStorage.

Did you fondle extbase a little? I think it's just because you don't 
love it enough *g*
