Just use the namespace declaration in your template:

{namespace blog=Tx_BlogExample_ViewHelpers}

All view helpers starting like <blog:... are pointing to the view helper 
classes starting with Tx_BlogExample_ViewHelpers in the directory 
EXT:blog_example/Classes/ViewHelpers/.
