[TYPO3-mvc] extbase: svn or distribution version

Hi,

we are currently planning our first big extbase project.
now i m thinking about using the svn's trunk as svn-external in the 
project. do you think that is a good idea? i mean, this way i always 
will have the newest features, but the downside of it will be that there 
will be bugs introduced by changes in the trunk, which maybe will force 
me to do unit tests (in order to check the old implemented features).

what do you think?
