[TYPO3-mvc] Your experiences with the memory consumption of extbase + improment suggestions?

Sure, I'd love to - also to get my extension reviewed ;) But I need to 
check that with my customer as it's a realworld extension. And I need to 
clean it up a bit - I had to do some quick'n'dirty stuff recently to get 
the (still ongoing) job done.
