[TYPO3-mvc] Fluid ViewHelper Repo?

what functionality does it have besides of printing a map. For a general 
(core) viewHelper you might need quite some configuration options (like 
map types, gui elements, returning the gMaps api in a certain var for 
interaction with other elements on the website,...). Another important 
feature would be to be able to add various markers with and without 
custom icons, info bubbles etc.

I'm aksing, because I also tried to build a generic googleMaps 
viewHelper widget, but in the end it was a bit to complex for the time I 
had left for the project (the one I already presented in this list - the 
online catalog stuff with store locator), so I stopped at some early 
stage and did it differently.
