[TYPO3-mvc] pages / starting point, recursive in flexform

hi, sorry for asking so much today, hope the day where i can answer 
questions will come soon :)

i just added a flexform field:
T3DataStructure/sheets/sDEF/el/pages

and another one:
T3DataStructure/sheets/sDEF/el/recursive

how can i tell extbase to use those settings instead of the pages field 
in the tt_content table?

PS: looks like extbase really rocks my socks off!
