[TYPO3-mvc] extbase usable with TYPO3 4.2 ?

Hi there!

just took my first deeper look into extbase and the blog_example and 
have to say it looks really awesome! great work!

now we think about using it in our next extension, but therefore i would 
need to know if extbase and fluid work in 4.2.
is there a way to get it running?
