[TYPO3-shop] Articles in dropdown menu

Hi,
I'd like to use articles in a shop which just appear in a drop down
list within a product item like variants. However, I can't seem to
figure out how that works. I understand that I can directly list
articles but that's not what I want. I want to list my products and
then have a drop down list within the product saying

S - $5.00
M - $10.00
L - $15.00
XL - $20.00

and the like. Is that possible at all?
