[TYPO3-shop] Payment page oddities!

Hello All,

I'm experiencing a rather unusual condition preventing me from 
completing a project, hopefully someone can explain this behavior.

When I put the "control/payment" step on a page by itself, my 
handleScript is included, and ALMOST all is well. The only thing wrong 
is that the basket contents don't seem to be pulled.

When I don't put "control/payment" on a separate page, the basket items 
appear, but my handleScipt doesn't get included.

In either scenario, all other aspects appear to work perfectly (all 
person, delivery and other information is present).

Any ideas WHY this is happening, and how it can be fixed?

P.S. - I don't care if the "control/payment" portion is on a separate 
page, so long as both the basket contents are populated and the 
handleScript is included.
