[TYPO3-shop] image not showing in single view, weird!

Weirder still:


1. Image is a .jpg. Image appears in list view but not single item.

2. Image is .png or .gif, image does not appear in listview or single view

3. multiple images assigned to one product, only .gif appears in the 
list view. In the sourse it looks like it makes <a>areound each image, 
but in the <img> all attributes are blank.

I looked thru the configuration in the manual, and I see a portion for image

image	IMAGE cObject	The image configuration in single display

but i see no example there. I looked into the IMAGE cObject and see some 
  parameters, fuch as file, but am not sure what should be entered for 
tt_products to be configured correctly.
