[TYPO3-shop] Quantity Field

Hi folks,
I'm working on a typo website for a friend, how offers rentable services.
He wants his customers to be able to select the product, view details and want him to enter his address and so on,
if the customer would have to login first, this wouldn't be a problem.
But I actually have one problem with the tt_products extension: the quantity field.
Is there any way to get rid of it without changing the sourcecode of tt_products?
