[TYPO3-shop] Commerce: the Second Coming?

Is there any new information on when we can expect a 1.0 of the new 
Commerce Extension? The Project Wiki isn't being updated, the project 
website has nothing new and the demo shop is as broken as ever. I can 
imagine I'm not the only person looking rather stupid in front of his 
clients because I can't give them even a rough estimate (1 month? 1 
year?) of when I can offer them something better than the crap called 
XT:Commerce.

Please, are we talking 2006? 2007? 2008? What needs to be done? How can 
I and/or others help?

So far, I'm betting my money I'll see Duke Nukem Forever in stores 
before Commerce comes out.
