Thx for the update. 

However a function seems to be missing from the table EXT:      
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: adddefaultfieldarray() in
[..]ext/tt_products/lib/class.tx_ttproducts_category.php on line 60

...or is it some inheritance I'm missing?
