[TYPO3-shop] [Typo3-shop] OrderUID

We are writing a new 'DIBS' style page to pass information to a processing 
server for credit cards for a local bank. Everything is working fine except 
for our inability to extract the orderUID for the curent session from the 
shop system to pass to the bank. Is there a commonly used function to do 
this? The code from the original DIBS page that called the orderUID does not 
work on our page. Any ideas would be helpful.
