[Typo3-shop] Basic question

Hi,
I need some help understanding what must be a very basic question that I 
just can't seem to grasp.  That is 'What is the relationship between the 
Template AREA Markers and the Plugin "CODES" or flexform categories'?

I have searched the newsgroup, and I have not seen any questions around 
this subject. So I am sorry if this is obvious to most people, but I am 
having problems trying to figure out what plugin codes to put on each page.

I tried to simply things and put all the codes on 1 page, but this does 
not work. :-( It also appears that depending on the way a template is 
built you might have different codes on the page?  for example the 
bananaguard template and the dk template would have different codes on a 
basket or order pages. OR would you always put Payment, Finalize, and 
Info code on the same page?

I understand the substitution part of markers. But there seems to be a 
hidden relationship between putting the "list" CODE on a page and the 
"ITEM_LIST_TEMPLATE" marker.

Maybe someone could spend a few minutes and list out the template market 
and the plugin code that uses it, for me? Also list out what codes can't 
or should not go on the same page?

If someone can help me figure this out, I would be willing to write this 
up so it could be included in the documentation or a tutorial for this 
extension. My guess is, that if I am have questions, other are too, but 
just may not be asking.
