[Typo3-shop] max_note_length stop at the end of a word

Is it possibly to have max_note_length to always stop at the end of a word 
instead of in the middle of a word?

I would like this:
The quick brown fox jumps over.
Instead of this:
The quick brown fox jumps over th.
