[Typo3-shop] error described on wiki page... but what is solution?

Hello Franz,

You replied to the part which was not as important to me as finding the 
solution. Or is there no solution? If you are working on it and you want 
me to stop bothering people about this then tell me...

and yes this is a better way of making the selection.

But other people are not complaining so whats up? what do they know that
