[Typo3-shop] Nothing in basket

Dear Franz etc,

Im trying to install tt_products with the integration of the zk_products 
funtionality
found on this page:
http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/Ext_tt_products
that is
http://fholzinger.com/typo3/development/tt_products-v0.17.zip

Im using 3.7 and TV0.4


I have followed the configuration manual found here
http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/doc_shop/Insert_Plugins_and_e/

And I have added the following lines as instructed in the zk manual:
<input type="hidden" name="mode_update" value="1">

<input type="Submit" name="products_update" value="update basket">

Put this into your FORM-Attributes of the BASKET_TEMPLATE.

Problems. Yes of course.
Nothing gets added to basket whether logged in or not. Any ideas?

I added some $_POST debug info and the vars get posted coerrectly, only not
processed.

And single view doesn't get rendered. Haven't even started looking into if 
required
address fields, payment integration etc works.

Cookies are enabled.
