[Typo3-shop] Email validation in tt_products etc.!

Hi there,


A quick question abaout the "tt_products extention" (and other extentions
with email-validation) :


Why dosen't the Email field validation work? The validation for missing
fields work fine, but the validation for correct email syntax seems to be
missing - It is therefore possible to submit entries with mailadresses
whitout correct syntax!


I know that it is the script "jsfunc.updateform.js" thats handeling this
validation and I can see that the Ereg code for syntax validation is in fact
pressent - but never the less - the validation dosen't work anyway?


Can some one help please.
