this is it. Thank you.
Either the one works with TYPO3 (6.1.5), depending on whether you would use translation files:

$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SYS']['locallangXMLOverride']['EXT:news/Resources/Private/Language/locallang_be.xml'][]= 'EXT:newscustom/Resources/Private/Language/locallang_be.xml';

AND/OR (probably better)

$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SYS']['locallangXMLOverride']['de']['EXT:news/Resources/Private/Language/locallang_be.xml'][] = 'EXT:newscustom/Resources/Private/Language/de.locallang_be.xml';
