[TYPO3-ttnews] EXT:news category menu with newscounter

hello...
has someone an idea (or a fluid example) to show a newscounter in
category menu (and maybe don't link the categoryname if the counter is
false)

it is a news 3.01 with systemcategories
on a TYPO3 6.2.4
