Hi,

Yes.
I got it working with TYPO3 6.1.7 and tx_news 2.3.0.
But there was a strange bug in the previous version. Old News-Workspace 
records created in the previous version, keep triggering that error, but 
it works for new records.
Probably has to do with a missing database value.
