[TYPO3-ttnews] EXT:news realURL with List and Single on same page does not display Single

If I comment out the postVarSets in the realurl_conf.php file, then the 
Single views do display, but the correct fiendly URI is followed by the 
entire postvarset. For example:

MyDomain.com/CategoryTitle/SingleTitle/?tx_news_pi1[controller]=News&tx_news_pi1[action]=detail&cHash=721c2d9e90f177df806b79482fa242f3

It is that non-friendly part of the URL I want to hide.
