[TYPO3-ttnews] display list view of tt_news article specified in FCE?

I have created a Flexible Content Element with a Page Content Elements
field that allows you to choose a tt_news article.  I'm trying to display
the article selected in that field using a tt_news plugin in typoscript. 
I've been struggling for weeks on achieving this.  Does anyone have any
idea how this can be accomplished?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
