[TYPO3-ttnews] news: How to import tt_news records?

Georg, all,

I tried to start working with news as replacement for tt_news. So, to 
start with it my idea was to import tt_news records first to learn how 
to handle settings, templates, ...

But, when I select any of the given import jobs and try to execute it, 
it gives an "error" popup.
The system is a TYPO3 4.5.10 with news 1.3 from TER.

I tried to execute the import on
- a new sysfolder dedicated to news records
- a folder holding tt_news records
- "somewhere" in the pagetree

But none of these works...

Do you have a hint what I'm doing wrong?
