[TYPO3-ttnews] ext:news - list view - how to display items in two columns?

Hi,
I am using the news extension from Georg Ringer for creating a video 
library. Great extension and I am very happy with it.

I would like to display the news items (videos) in list view next  to 
eachother in columns. How do I achive that?

Can it be done with the template file or better with css?
What would the css look like?

Anyone has an idea?
