there just need to be some people (1-3) which would like to be 
responsible for it, not meaning to provide the patches alone but also do 
the administrative stuff.

plans are that forge projects are automatically on git and not on forge 
anymore. and sure this would be an wesome step to create a version for 
TER out of forge. this shouldn't be that hard (doesn't mean that it is 
simple) but doable.
