Hi,

From what I read in the news-groups it seems like tt_news is currently
not maintained actively anymore. So new updates are not very likely. The
best  thing you can do is get tt_news trunk from svn or if it is
possible for you, switch to the sucessor 'news'. Maybe Georg can shed
some more light on this.
